SECTION 1 — BOOKING & CONFIRMATION

1.1 All bookings must be made in advance by contacting us via WhatsApp at +91 99942 29047 or by visiting our store in Ganapathy, Coimbatore.

1.2 A booking is considered confirmed only after the security deposit has been received and a confirmation message has been sent by Swastik Bridal Jewellery to the customer.

1.3 Availability of jewellery sets is subject to prior bookings. We strongly recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks before your wedding or event date to avoid disappointment.

1.4 Swastik Bridal Jewellery reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion without providing a reason.

1.5 The customer must provide accurate personal details at the time of booking including full name, phone number, delivery address, and event date.

1.6 Bookings made through WhatsApp, phone call, or in-person visit are all equally valid and binding under these terms.

SECTION 2 — SECURITY DEPOSIT

2.1 A fully refundable security deposit is mandatory for all rental bookings. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking and varies based on the jewellery set selected.

2.2 The security deposit must be paid in full before the jewellery is handed over or dispatched to the customer.

2.3 The deposit will be refunded in full within 24 to 48 hours after the jewellery is returned safely, verified, and confirmed to be in its original condition.

2.4 If the jewellery is returned damaged, the cost of repair will be deducted from the security deposit before refund. If repair costs exceed the deposit amount, the customer must pay the remaining balance.

2.5 If the jewellery is lost or stolen while in the customer's possession, the full market value of the jewellery must be paid and the security deposit will be forfeited entirely.

2.6 The security deposit is non-transferable and cannot be applied to future bookings or used as payment for rental charges.

2.7 Swastik Bridal Jewellery will not be held responsible for any delay in deposit refund caused by bank processing times.

SECTION 3 — RENTAL PERIOD & CHARGES

3.1 The standard rental period is 1 to 3 days unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking.

3.2 The rental start date is the date on which the jewellery is delivered or collected by the customer. The rental end date is the date on which the jewellery is returned to Swastik Bridal Jewellery.

3.3 If the customer requires the jewellery for more than the agreed rental period, an extension must be requested and approved by Swastik Bridal Jewellery before the original return date.

3.4 Late returns without prior approval will attract additional charges per day. The daily late fee will be communicated at the time of booking.

3.5 Rental charges are non-refundable once the jewellery has been delivered or collected by the customer, regardless of whether it was used or not.

3.6 The rental period does not include any trial or fitting time prior to the event unless specifically agreed upon.

SECTION 4 — JEWELLERY HANDLING & CARE

4.1 The customer is fully responsible for the safe keeping and proper handling of all rented jewellery from the time of collection or delivery until the time of return.

4.2 The jewellery must be handled with utmost care and must not be exposed to water, perfumes, deodorants, hairspray, sunscreen, harsh chemicals, or any cosmetic products.

4.3 The jewellery must not be altered, resized, repaired, cleaned, polished, or modified in any way by the customer or any third party during the rental period.

4.4 The jewellery must not be worn during swimming, bathing, sleeping, heavy physical activity, or any activity that may cause damage.

4.5 All rented jewellery must be stored safely in the original packaging provided by Swastik Bridal Jewellery when not in use.

4.6 Children must not be allowed to handle or play with the rented jewellery under any circumstances.

4.7 If any piece of jewellery feels loose, broken, or damaged at any point during the rental period, the customer must immediately stop using it and contact Swastik Bridal Jewellery at +91 99942 29047.

SECTION 5 — DAMAGE, LOSS & LIABILITY

5.1 Minor damage such as small scratches, loose stones, or bent components will be assessed by Swastik Bridal Jewellery upon return. Repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

5.2 Major damage including broken components, missing stones, bent or snapped metal work, or damage requiring full restoration will be charged at the full repair or replacement cost, which may exceed the security deposit amount.

5.3 In the event of complete loss or theft of any rented piece, the customer is liable to pay the full current market value of the jewellery as determined by Swastik Bridal Jewellery.

5.4 The customer must file a police complaint immediately in the event of theft and provide a copy of the FIR to Swastik Bridal Jewellery. Filing an FIR does not waive the customer's financial liability.

5.5 Swastik Bridal Jewellery is not responsible for any personal injury, skin reaction, allergy, or health issue arising from wearing the rented jewellery.

5.6 Swastik Bridal Jewellery is not liable for any loss or damage to the rented jewellery caused by natural disasters, accidents, or events beyond the customer's reasonable control. However, the customer remains financially responsible for the condition of the jewellery.

5.7 Any damage found upon return that was not reported during the rental period will be assumed to have occurred during the rental and will be charged accordingly.

SECTION 6 — RETURN POLICY

6.1 All rented jewellery must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time as confirmed at the time of booking.

6.2 Jewellery must be returned in the same original packaging in which it was delivered or handed over.

6.3 Returns must be made directly to Swastik Bridal Jewellery at our store address or via the agreed courier or delivery arrangement. Returns handed to any unauthorized person will not be accepted.

6.4 Upon return, Swastik Bridal Jewellery will inspect the jewellery in the presence of the customer wherever possible. Any damage or discrepancy will be noted and communicated immediately.

6.5 If the customer is unable to return the jewellery in person, they must arrange safe and insured courier delivery to our address. Swastik Bridal Jewellery will not be responsible for any damage or loss during courier transit.

6.6 Swastik Bridal Jewellery reserves the right to charge for any missing pieces, packaging, or accessories that were part of the original rental set.

SECTION 7 — CANCELLATION POLICY

7.1 Once a jewellery booking is confirmed, cancellations are generally not permitted as the selected jewellery is reserved exclusively for the customer and kept unavailable for other bookings.

7.2 If a customer requests to cancel any particular jewellery piece after confirmation, 50% of the rental charge for that specific piece shall be payable or retained by Swastik Bridal Jewellery as a reservation and holding fee.

7.3 Any advance amount or booking amount paid towards the cancelled jewellery piece shall be adjusted against the applicable cancellation charge, and any remaining balance, if due, shall be payable by the customer.

7.4 Security deposits, where applicable, shall be refunded only if they are not adjusted towards any outstanding cancellation charges, damages, or other dues under these Terms and Conditions.

7.5 Any request for cancellation or modification must be communicated through WhatsApp or email. Acceptance of such requests shall be solely at the discretion of Swastik Bridal Jewellery.

7.6 Swastik Bridal Jewellery reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to unforeseen damage to the jewellery, natural disasters, or operational emergencies. In such cases, any booking amount or security deposit received for the affected jewellery shall be refunded in full, and no further liability shall arise on the part of Swastik Bridal Jewellery.

SECTION 8 — DELIVERY & PICKUP

8.1 Customers may personally visit the Swastik Bridal Jewellery showroom to collect and return the rented jewellery during the designated business hours.

8.2 At the customer's request, the jewellery may also be collected or returned through third-party delivery partners such as Porter, Rapido, or any other service chosen by the customer. All charges associated with such services shall be borne exclusively by the customer.

8.3 Where courier delivery is requested and accepted by Swastik Bridal Jewellery, the jewellery may be dispatched through a courier service. All courier charges, including delivery and return shipping charges, shall be the sole responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8.4 The customer is responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery details. Swastik Bridal Jewellery shall not be liable for any delay, loss, theft, damage, or mishandling arising from the services of any third-party delivery partner or courier service.

8.5 The responsibility for the jewellery shall transfer to the customer immediately upon handover to the customer or to the customer's nominated representative, courier service, or third-party delivery partner.

8.6 The customer shall inspect the jewellery immediately upon receipt and notify Swastik Bridal Jewellery without delay of any visible discrepancy or issue. Failure to report any issue promptly shall be deemed as acceptance that the jewellery was received in good condition.

8.7 Any delivery or pickup timelines communicated by Swastik Bridal Jewellery are only estimates and may be affected by traffic conditions, weather, courier delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Swastik Bridal Jewellery shall not be responsible for any such delays.

8.8 The jewellery must be returned on or before the agreed return date using the mutually agreed method of return. Any transportation, courier, or third-party delivery charges incurred for returning the jewellery shall be borne by the customer.

SECTION 9 — PROHIBITED USES

9.1 The rented jewellery must not be used for any commercial purpose including but not limited to professional photo shoots, advertisements, films, television, social media campaigns, or any paid commercial activity without prior written permission from Swastik Bridal Jewellery.

9.2 The jewellery must not be sub-rented, lent, gifted, pledged, or transferred to any other person under any circumstances.

9.3 The jewellery must not be taken outside the state of Tamil Nadu without prior written approval from Swastik Bridal Jewellery.

9.4 The customer must not attempt to replicate, copy, or reproduce the designs of any jewellery rented from Swastik Bridal Jewellery.

SECTION 10 — PRIVACY POLICY

10.1 Swastik Bridal Jewellery collects personal information including name, phone number, address, and event details solely for the purpose of processing rental bookings and providing services.

10.2 Customer information will never be sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party without explicit consent, except where required by law.

10.3 Customer photos or testimonials shared with Swastik Bridal Jewellery may be used for marketing purposes on our website, Instagram, or Google listing unless the customer explicitly requests otherwise in writing.

10.4 By contacting us via WhatsApp, you consent to receiving booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages related to your rental.

SECTION 11 — DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1 In the event of any dispute arising from a rental transaction, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication via WhatsApp or phone within 48 hours.

11.2 If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

11.3 Swastik Bridal Jewellery's decision regarding damage assessment and deposit deductions shall be considered final after due inspection.

SECTION 12 — GENERAL CONDITIONS

12.1 Swastik Bridal Jewellery reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.

12.2 By confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions listed in this document.

12.3 These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Swastik Bridal Jewellery regarding the rental of jewellery.

12.4 If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
